As our food digested we gathered around the television to hear the annual Christmas Day Queen's Speech. This was our first year to listen to Her Majesty as nationalised British subjects. How nice to see the familiar and dear locations of our earlier visit. The church is looking picturesque in the warm lighting. I think I can almost hear the strains of the choir. The Queen is looking quite fit. Maurene looks lovely, as always (as does Jessica, of course). And, may I say, those Brussels sprouts look mighty tasty. Our Christmas celebration included re-acquainting ourselves with some of the pigs we encountered in your fair city. The uninitiated reader can only guess as to the true meaning of this part of my remarks. At any rate, thanks for the pictures and thanks very much for your thoughtfulness, expressed in a book filled with pigs. Merry Christmas!
